Annual Conference
The IPRO annual Conference is the only industry event focused upon the needs of
the manufacturer's representative. The Conference emphasis is on educational
courses geared to your changing market and networking dynamics. The Conference
is a framework for bringing principals together, and the real magic occurs as a
result of interaction and group dynamics. It's a non-competitive environment
where concepts are born and challenges are resolved. It is your only
representative firm based resource - a significant advantage. IPRO is the only
resource for sales representatives that originated from within the audio/video
industry.
Annual survey
The IPRO Annual Survey is an industry-wide, totally confidential, survey of
representative firms which is used to track the changes that affect us all. We
publish the results to all who complete the survey, at no charge. We also use
the Survey for "think-tank sessions" at our annual Conference. It is an
important tool that our members rely upon for continued reference and
comparison of their own efforts within the industry.
General Counsel
IPRO has retained the services of Steven Mitchell Sack as General Counsel. Our
members may contact Steven at any time to request legal advice pertaining to
your representative business. He is available to our members for telephone
consultation at no charge, along with other benefits. A detailed statement of
services that are available from Steven is available from the IPRO
office.
CEDIA Room Block
Each year we negotiate a room block for the CEDIA Show, placing our members as
conveniently located to the Convention Center as possible. In the past we have
used the Omni Hotel, just one block from the show. Room blocks are reserved
through the organization making the process incredibly easy and cost effective
for our members. As we continually seek to enlarge our room selections, rooms
are available on a first come, first served basis.
CES 2006 Room Block
Each year we also negotiate a room block for the CES show in Las Vegas, placing
our members as conveniently located to the Convention Center as possible. For
the January 2006 CES show we will be using the Sahara Hotel, conveniently
located close to the convention center with Monorail access. Room blocks are
reserved through the organization making the process incredibly easy and cost
effective for our members. As we continually seek to enlarge our room
selections, rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.
The IPRO Newsletter
The IPRO newsletter is a informative and helpful electronic newsletter that is
available to representatives, manufacturers, associations, and sales
professionals who serve the audio-video industry. It serves to create and
maintain business relationships, the foundation of our industry, and keeps our
business partners more informed about field sales activities. Your subscription

The Virtual Representative
This electronic newsletter allows participating representative companies to
communicate product and sales information directly to the sales person or
installer who needs to stay informed, and it allows your firm the means of

The Association website has just been completely renovated to reflect the
professionalism, goals, and current abilities of our members, and to provide
our industry affiliates with the means to remain informed about the activities

Vendor Referrals
The IPRO office has become well known as a resource to manufacturers who are
seeking quality representatives to sell their products. They continue to find
the experience of beginning with IPRO to be a more easy and productive
experience. These vendors provide the Executive Director with a corporate and
product profile, which is sent to all IPRO members immediately. Each member has
the opportunity to respond with interest and communicate the strengths of their
own firm, or to demonstrate their professionalism with a polite refusal and a
referral.
Business Development Materials
We are providing a publication called "IPRO WORDS" to our members. "WORDS"
contains valuable information from industry experts and articles from fellow
members on ways to improve your representative business. In March of 2005, a
new monthly newsletter will be forwarded to the management and sales staff of
audio/video manufacturers. This will provide them with important articles that
support the role of the representative in our industry, and make a definitive
statement about the commitment and professionalism of the IPRO member.
Invitations to CEDIA, CEA, EH Expo, ERA, and CEMA Events
Due to our close affiliation with these complementary industry organizations,
our zeal in communicating the importance of outsourcing sales to a professional
field sales force, and our commitment to excellence, IPRO members are invited
